Works with Ubuntu
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and I needed a backup hard drive that would work right out of the box. This one does that, no problems. The software that comes with it is written for Windows but you wont need it, it's just plug and play.

1TB Portable Hard drive
We ordered 10 for our department. The turnaround time between placing the order and receiving the items was very quick. We are pleased with the items. We have not installed all of the drives yet but the ones we have, are working just fine.

Like it so far
Got this drive as a replacement backup drive, and so far (a couple weeks later) it's working great. It's super tiny, and the fact that it doesn't need to plug into a power outlet is awesome. Just don't like that it has such a short cable (only 15 inches), and that the cable is not a standard cable. Otherwise it's great for what I need.
