Never again
Battery was dead on arrival. I had to buy a new one or return the whole unit & wait. After 4 weeks the enter notebook died. This was a terrible deal. A new notebook would have worked out so much better.

Very Satisfied
I am very satisfied with Asus U57A-BBL4 refurbished Laptop Computer! I replaced the HD with a SSD and loaded Windows 8 on it. Will be using the 750G HD that came with it for my movie collection. I did not like the touchepad because it kept interfering when I typed. The BIOS has an option of disabling the tourchepad, called internal point device. I just used a cordless USB mouse. The USB 3 inputs copy files very fast. Had no trouble with windows 8 and updated the software OK

asus u57a laptop
I bought this laptop and it was awesome till the battery would not charge and the power adapter over heated so i had to send them back to asus. But other than that the laptop works awesome.

Low Screen Resolution
My boyfriend got this laptop for me because it is a i5, but the screen resolution is bad. I can see the lines on the screen, like my computer I had in 1999. Also, the keypad sometimes doesn't work. This will take some getting used to. I feel like I traded in screen resolution for a better processor, and I miss the better screen.

Great product, great price!
Can't beat this laptop for the price! I watched prices all over for some time before buying this laptop. I would rate this laptop between high and middle end. It's not a gaming machine (high end) but it does everything I need it to do with NO problems and is better than most other laptops. I am very satisfied with the capabilities
