waste of money and time
After research, I tought I could avoid having to put another range extender access point by simply switching the antenna. $100 later and couple of hours' work later (router is up on a post), nothing changed.

Not worth it
Once connected, it only slightly improved the signal strength. Stopped working after only two days! Returned and using the original antenna.

Great product when working
Returned twice because the antenna did not get the signal. There seems to be a problem with the wire that attatches to the router. The third one is a charm. Covers a large area and did the trick for me.

Exactly what we needed
This antenna did exactly what it was designed to do and gave us the extra coverage we needed. We were getting 1 to 2 bars in the bad corner of the house. Now we get 4 and 5 bars. No more dropped connections. We went from 20Mbps to 40+Mbps downstream and 4.5Mbps upstream! I'm glad we went with this higher power booster because I think a lower power booster would still have us struggling.
