Good system but some drawbacks.

I've had it up and running for about a week now and have a few opinions. Pro's: Good system for a low cost, 4 gigs of ram is more than enough. Cons: 1. Case ventilation is poor at best. Ive had to resort to taking the side of the case off and replacing it with a mesh screen and fan I used on the old system. I was getting core temps of 60 - 75c and system temps almost matching it. Maybe an included 120mm fan for the case or a drive bay fan would work to solve this. 2. Power Supply: As others have said it doesn't come with enough SATA style feeds. 6 sata ports only 2 power feeds?

Awesome budget barebones kit

Pros: If you're on a budget and can get your hands on a copy of Win 7 then this is what you need. I didn't have a lot of money which is why I chose this kit. I have needed to do a lot of HD video rendering lately and this computer has surprisingly stood up to the challenge (even with the integrated Gfx). Granted it's no alienware but for $300 bucks it does an amazing job! Cons: The CPU fan that comes with it doesn't work with Asus QFan motherboard feature but for the most part it has kept the processor under 40C except when video rendering which get's up to about 65C. I may be upgrading the fan soon. Conclusion: Get it!

Good deal but beware of the power supply

The only thing I can find wrong with this is the power supply. It has only two SATA connectors and they are right next to one another. The only way possible you can connect both the DVD-RW & the hard drive is to put the DVD-RW in the bottom-most slot and the hard drive where the floppy would normally go. But you'll have to put the hard drive in first because the memory gets in the way. Otherwise, get an IDE to SATA power-plug adapter with it and away you go. Remember, you won't be able to install another drive without one anyway.

I ordered this kit but the PS was not shipped with this bundle and it will be three days until i recieve it and i really needed it for online college. The case was also different as the one shown which has lights and this one does not. The case above after getting it last year when i ordered a bundle deal, the clip for the lights broke off during the first week, so then i could not use the lights at all.

Wouldn't post.

Got this kit this morning, put it together and it wouldn't post. Won't even beep so I can't even determine where the problem is. Fans run, drives cycle up but that's it. Nothing to screen and not a peep out of the chassis speaker in regard to error codes.
