works incredibly well

Best for 2 weeks
The switch was what I needed and it worked perfectly for 2 weeks and quit working. I removed in and reinstalled it and it worked for about 20 minutes. A total loss since I could not send it back because I lost some of the original package material.

Cost Effective Solution
Since this is a simple K V M switch, I'll list the pros and cons. Pros - D V I Connections! Finally a non VGA K V M for under $80. U S B connections AND audio mic wires for those who have moved beyond the PS2 connector keyboard and mouse. Blue LED indicator for which computer is active; it flashes when no connection is detected. Long cord on the push button switch allows you to place it in the most convenient space. Cons - Cables are less than 3 feet in length, so unless your two computers are side by side, you will have to place the actual K V M box under or beside your desk. The cables should have been 4 to 6 feet even if an additional power supply would be required. The K V M box feels a little flimsy but since I mounted mine under a desk, it should be just fine. Overall, this K V M switch is a deal. Just be certain that the cable length matches your needs.
