I got this power supply a little over a year ago for an upgrade. about four mounths ago the power supply it started acting up. The back of the power supply would get hot the fan was making noise. Luckly I saved my old power supply that came with my computer that has been running for three to four years now with no problems. I am an A+ Certified computer technician and this was my first and last time buying from coolmax.

Had mine for 18 months (12 month warranty). Worked great, very quiet. Unfortunately it also started to shut down my computer when ever I play games like HL2 (graphicaly intense). Also replaced it with an Antec Truepower2, and not more problems since

Great PSU. Silent and handles a good load. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because after about 8 months now it's dying on me. The computer will turn off at random times. I tried a new Antec 400W and no problems at all. So, this one bit the dust.
