Customer Reviews
128 works great, as long as you have a PCI slot. Technology is changing, but 128mb is sufficient for most apps.
I got this card yesterday and I have to say I am not disappointed, it has exceeded my expectations. I definitely got my money's worth.
Great for the price. Unlike some others, I did get installation instruction with mine, not that they were needed. I play Half-Life 2, and C&C ''The First Decade'' without any lag issues at all. Have not had any issues as reported by some users. Sure, it's not as fast as, say, a 512MB AGP card, but then again, it's a lot cheaper to.
I was looking for a cheap video card that would support the 1440x900 resolution requirements of my new monitor. This one worked like a charm.
Nothing but trouble. Bought this card as a inexpensive upgrade to allow my computer to play 3D games. Admitedly, for 75% of the games out there it does that without much fuss, and decent performance. However, does not support windows media player or any video playback WHATSOEVER! My computer locks up on wmp, divx, even games that use avi based videos. On games that dont, its only a matter of time before the VidCard glitches up, freezes, or corrupts the images. Computer also has a self-restarting issue now whenever the vidcard becomes bogged down. Do yourself a favor, get a brand name card w/support. There are no driver updates available anywhere for this card.
