Disapointing
Very disappointed in the life span of my Aser. I have had it just a year and a half and the hard drive went out. Really a product such as this only has a life span of 18 months. But I guess when the warranty is only good for a year that says something....Acer doesn't back their product I guess. I only used my computer at home and very minimal use of it. My husband and I use it to check emails and keep in contact with our children and once in awhile search things so it was never over used and well kept so it is very disappointing to have the hard drive be bad in it already.

Performance?
My experience with laptops is limited, But this thing looked great was not to big and not to small but it would not play Netflix. I thought about giving it to my kid, But the 8year old told me to just send it back. Worthless!

Good value
I bought 2 of these laptops in the past 6 months. Upgraded to 4GB of ram before powering up and I've never had ANY issues whatsoever. They aren't the fastest laptops on the market (what do you expect for the price), but with an extra $25 stick of RAM you will get good performance and an awesome deal. Anyone who reviews this product negatively obviously does not have any REAL PC experience. I've been a PC tech for over 15 years and I know what I'm talking about. Windows 7 with 2GB of RAM is not enough, but this price helps being able to upgrade immediately. I'm giving it a 5-star rating for performance for the overall performance with a simple upgrade in its price range. I hope this review helps you to decide on your purchase.
