not working after you replace the batteries

Same experience like another user, it quit working once I replaced the batteries for the first time. It was not that cheap either. GEARHEAD will be banned for ever out of my shopping brand. Very disappointed.

Excellent Value

Plug it in, it works. Being 2.4 GHz, it has great, very long range. Mouse shuts off automatically after a time of non use to save the battery. Any button press wakes it up. The circle (labelled DPI)at the back is another button that wakes it up too. Love the NANO receiver because it's small enough to leave plugged into a laptop without worrying it'll get snagged on something. The receiver can be stored within the slot in the battery compartment when required.

Nice, Basic Mouse

Pros: Easy to set up, just plug and play. Comfortable to hold for a nano mouse (even for big hands). Ribbed rubber grips on sides. Wheel is quiet and smooth while scrolling. Small dongle barely noticeable on side of laptop. Cons: No on off switch. Short life. UPDATE: After one month of light use, the mouse began acting erratically, the scroll wheel stopped responding and I found the batteries inside had corroded (don't know if it was due to Duracell batteries or mouse itself). May have been a bad apple, but not worth returning. Sticking with Logitech.

I bought one of these mice less than 6 months ago. It worked as good as one of the more expensive brands until it was time to replace the batteries. Once the batteries were replaced, it quit working. I tried everything, even reinstalling the old batteries. I checked in the device manager, and the dongle was recognized but it wasn't reading the mouse. And Gear Head Technical......what a joke!!!!!! Spend a little more and get a logitech or microsoft mouse. You'll save money in the long run.

wow wish i bought sooner

wow wish i would have had this mouse when i got my new pc last year. this has a battery saving feature,that shuts the mouse down after non use. i been fighting this other wireless one for way to long, buy this product!

Having issues with older operating system

I've had this mouse for a while now. Works great with Win 7, but doesn't seem to like Vist... But then again what does???

I'm not very computer literate, so I always expect to have trouble installing any new product. This mouse is amazing. Put the batteries in, plug in the USB thingy, and Wham! - you're in bizness. Easiest install ever. Mouse works perfect and fits the hand nicely. No complaints whatsoever.

A good product when working

From the momrnt I got the mouse I had to fight with it to work.I replaced the batteries that came with it and it still didn't work. I wanted to send it back but instead I decided to give it another chance. since I have experience with cheap products from china, I assumed that something is wrong and I was right. The batteries contacts where not allign. there was no electric contact.I had to bend the contacts to create connection. Now it's working. So if you want a good product without having the need to modify it, pay for a more expensive one.
