Tough to type
I got this for the small footprint but still with full sized keys and it is compact and functions well (no wireless issues) but it takes a lot of pressure to get the keys to go. This is especially true of the space bar which is (obviously) used all the time and tends to slow me down to have to correct when I don't press it hard enough. Because of the small footprint some of the keys are not in the natural positions so I find myself hitting the NUM LOCK and HOME keys a lot by accident. It has a very small and low profile, and the wireless seems to work fine but this is definitely for the 'Hunt and peck' typist, not for anyone who types with any speed.

Fatal Flaws
The spacebar is small and positioned too far to the left. The keys require an inordinate amount of pressure causing characters to be missed, especially the enter key. Keyboard is definitely not for the touch typist. Might be OK for hunt-and-peck. Mouse is OK; I'm still using it but quickly discarded the keyboard.

Good price, inferior product
I had no trouble setting up the keyboard and mouse. But I didn't use it for long, because the touch on the keyboard is far too heavy. Several keys, but especially the enter key, failed to register when I pressed them.

Worked like a Charm-First Time Around
Installed the batteries in the devices, the receiver in my laptop and it worked the first time around. No special setups or commands.

Very Satisfied
Plugged it in. Inserted the batteries. Worked like a hose. I use this to operate a netbook from across the liviing room (10'). The netbook is connectied to my TV. I can now stream programming and surf the intrnet from my couch. The mouse is great (unlike other reviews) as is the keyboard. I've been operating about a month now on the original batteries that came with the unit. Don't be afraid to buy this product.
