The Infinity REF860W 8" Subwoofer has large-roll rubber surrounds, material that provides optimum cone-edge suspension and absorbs distortions that may travel up the cone edge, ensuring clean, tight bass. The Infinity REF860W 8" Subwoofer also features vented polepieces, which provide additional cooling of the motor structure. The Infinity REF860W 8" Subwoofer's thermal capablities are augmented, thus increasing power handling.
High-efficiency polypropylene woofer cones are also a feature that is a lightweight and popular material that is used to ensure maximum woofer efficiency. The benefit is high output with modest amplifier power.
