Well worth the price
I got my rebate already so the drive only cost me $20. You cannot really complain about anything for a BluRay drive with this price. It does what it's supposed to do, not superfast but with a USB2 interface that's expected. It's very light so pressing the eject button would need 2 hands (one hand to hold the unit still), that's really the only downside that I can think off. It doesn't come with BluRay software but I know that ahead of time. I usually rip my BluRay and watch them on my portable HD tablet anyways, so it doesn't really matter all that much.

If only I knew...
I wish I had known I would need to purchase a $50 software package to play blu-ray discs, but the $45 rebate takes most of the sting out.

Not the easiest but worth the effort
It does take a little while to get working without bundled software but, for the price, it is well worth the money. Blu-ray takes a lot of hardware to play so it needs recent machine still it was a good deal just if you play regular DVDs.

Does what it is supposed to do.
I essentially got this drive for $20 after rebate so this review is taking that into consideration. I wanted a blu ray player for the least amount of money and this was it. It plays blu rays with no problem but does not come with any software. It is very big, noisy, and has a flip up lid which is inconvenient. I do like how it only takes 1 USB port to power it. Most players take 2. I would never purchase this for the $65 it was going for.

Excellent value - used few times - no disc burning
This drive works very well despite the low price it is sold at. It will play CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays, but not write them. i am fine with that, because the drive costed about $40 with taxes, shipping and rebates. Good deal! Hoping it lasts a long time.
