Windows SBS server essentials
Recommend using an IT tech to install and setup a server network. Be very careful when setting up domain names, login IDs and passwords, and backup procedures. Works efficiently and much faster than XP environment with the Xeon processor.

Works well, some problems
Purchased SBS for some redundant onsite backup, file hosting, and some specialized intranet software, works great. Had issues on install that a quick google search solved: Card readers may cause install problems, installing with automatic updates on as default caused the install to fail, could use desktop but not dashboard and had to reinstall. Otherwise, great value and would recommend

Impressive, one gripe
First, let me say that I'm impressed with SBS 2011. Pros: Setting the OS up is easier than previous versions of Windows Server. Set it and forget it. We are primarily using it for a domain controller and file share. Cons: To simplify setup, some things are limited. The one thing I bumped into that cost me a few hours was that you can't change the computer or domain name after Windows is installed. So Make SURE you get what you want the first time.
