Game HD
Bought this drive for games. I have another raptor same kind installed as my OS drive. The other drive has been in service for 4-5 years. Both drives come with heat sinks. My main drive does not have a fan in front of it but have had no problems with it. This game drive does have a fan in front of it and have not had any heat problems so far and do not expect any. Both are in a full tower case. MB only supports SATA3 so this was a good buy for an older system.

Great price for good product
Everything it says it does. Good addition to just run basic os and standard programs. Suggest having spare backup for all your files. Good way to get your windows hd rating up higher. People says it runs hot I have not really seen that issue with mine since I have cooling fans in front of the hd

10K Velociraptor SATA hard drive
Purchased this Velociraptor a few weeks ago. Upon receipt, I installed, formatted and partitioned the drive and installed my operating system from an image. Everything went smoothly. Extremely fast drive! However after turning off my computer and turning on the next day, I got a message to adjust my bios settings to accommodate new drive. Did that, and drive died. Tried everything to get it back nothing worked.
