Great Deal, Works Good, Some Drawbacks

Great 1st camera. At $50, high value. Wireless rang is at most 20' so plan to buy a range extender or hardwire. Features are fun - sends email on motion, records to your hard disk, phone app to check your house and they all work. Took longer than planned to set up but easy if have technical savy. Still haven't gotten the sensitivity set well yet to not send too many emails on false motion, but sould be fixable. Been running 3 weeks no problem. Mounted upside down hanging from window frame to watch driveway has setting to flip image. Only issue is some reflection of blinds on glass. Has audio can turn off, but no night vision. Can see a little if driveway light on. Fixed camera. Can't move it.

I bought this camera on sale. It was worth it! I just ordered two more camera but with night vision. I like the ease of the DLINK system

Flexible Resolution, Works with Home Automation

I bought two of these to supplement my home automation system (Vera from Micasaverde)and they work fine. The resolution is adjustable and I started with the highest resolution but cranked it down to save bandwidth when viewing the camera images remotely. At this price point, the picture quality is better than I expected. I am completely pleased with these cameras. Although I don't use it, the D-Link network signup was easy and the cameras worked flawlessly on it.

Great Starter Camera

I basically bought this camera for my home surveillance. The setup was simple and easy and at the end of it I was able to setup mydlink account. The mydlink account lets me log in and see a live stream from any internet connected device. There's also a free mydlink lite app for iOS and Android. This app lets me connect either wirelessly or connect through 3G or 4G connection to monitor my home from anywhere over my android phone. As long as you have a good connection at both ends, the streaming quality is quite good. I also setup email notifications based on motion detection so that I can receive email whenever there is motion and it worked perfectly fine. In short this is a great starter camera for anyone interested in home surveillance at very reasonable price.

Love this camera

No problems works as advertised!

Works fine, but

I found this network camera easy to setup and to use. If you are viewing it on the same wireless network as the camera you get unlimited time and a somewhat larger picture, although not full screen. This does not work to monitor from a remote location or on a Google app. It will time out in 60 seconds and must be restarted. There is also a few second delay on what you are seeing remotely.

pretty good

D-link works fine.use it for work and can see what's going on while at home.but canot get it to work wireless.which I would love so I could move it around to monitor other areas beside the registers

you get what you paid for which is junk

Poor quality video with very low resolution. Audio worked sometimes when new but now wont come on at all.

It is relative easy but video quality and motion detect is not as good as I thought. Well you paid what you get. Email me a lot of false alarm. Do they know open the email to see the image is painful if too many at one time.

great for the price

Purchased this because I want to keep an eye on my sump pit and it works to my expectations. It needs some light in order to work, it's not pitch black down there but basement window isn't giving off enough light for it to work! When light is on works great! I put the app on my Android phone and 3g service is a little slow to stream video, WiFi makes it a little better but still slow to start. For what I need it for its great.
