Does a great job, easy out of the box work
remember it only VHS in you can't get blue ray out

Did not perform well in Windows XP
Was not able to capture video elements of VCR signal when using Windows XP, When using Windows 7 features worked but audio quality was poor.

Worked Great!
I opened the box, read the instructions, plugged everything in just like in the booklet provided using my VHS VCR, the Honestech VHS to DVD Device and my laptop computer (which I had installed the software into). Within seconds I was transferring my VHS tapes to DVDs. The process couldn't be easier and the quality couldn't be better. I would recommend this device and software to anyone.

Converts HD
What is meant by this is also in the video. HD converts from a HD Video Camera. Thats why there arent seperate jacks or HDMI.I really like the cassete conversion.

Not only a converter
The software not only converts VHS to DVD (digitizing), but also offers a video editing function which is better (ease of use) then Microsoft's Movie Maker or Nero8's movie editing. However, It claims to convert HD videos, but there is no HD input jacks (HDMI jack or component jack) on the included hardware box, only composite input (RCA jack and s-video jack) are available.
