Not Very Good
I was looking at the other reviews, which led me to purchase this. I must have a bad unit. This thing will not stay connected to a network for even 30 seconds (no really... 30 seconds). As far as I am concerned, it is going in the trash. I do not think I could get my money back; and I hate returning things. Worthless.

Nice Device
My iPod touch was stolen, and was way more than I needed. I really only wanted PDA functions - email, calendar, notes, and this is just right for that. The resistive screen is not as cool as the capacitive screen, battery life isn't great and I wish it had an audible or vibratory alarm.

very good for the money
only 2 thing to change on this micro tablet 1 expansion SD card needed and 2 swappable battery. this is a cool MP3 player and has held up very good in my work place I am a ceramist and get covered in clay and muck everyday hard on little electronic gadgets but this little tablet held up great. On straight audio playing only gets about 8-9 hrs. as for all the other tweaks they are great fun to play with while the kids are playing on the playground daddy has his little toy as well. yes the screen is small it is a tiny little full featured tablet PC Not a laptop, you will not be using it to run a business just a play time toy and audio if you need a large screen for games and things go bigger if you want a fun MP3 player that can do things the big boys can in a micro case then get this tablet you will not regret it.

You get what you pay for
The archos came bundled with SD card. Since it was recommended by this store I bought the bundle. I should read more closely. The 28 does not have a SD slot. Since it was my first purchase of an android did not know what to expect. Now that i have, i see i should have went with one with more features,Like a SD slot and video out. It is a cute little toy give it to your 10 year old.

A barebones introductory throwaway unit
I grabbed this on the last day of sale, to get my feet wet on Android tablets. AT $79, it was at the price point where I wouldn't mind it going obsolete in a year, but I could still gain value from it experimenting with Android 2.2 over WiFi. With the teeny screen, almost need to hang it on my nose. I use a plastic mechanical pencil (without lead) as a stylus. The earphones wouldn't fit my ears. Use your own. After software updates and using the Archos Toolbox, was able to get to the Android marketplace. Too slow to run Angry birds. Wish I had found the Archos 32 on sale, for its TV output capability. Otherwise, no regrets.
