Not too much different than my old life cam.
I recently bought this and gave my old life cam away thinking this would be better. It's not. It refocuses constantly, the lighting seems to be changing in the video, even though it's not. The quality is not that great, it's sort of fuzzy. The highest settings with HD look great but my PC seems to not want to handle it. AMD Athlon II X2, 4 GB DDR3. So if your computer isn't so great it really makes no difference with it being HD, it won't record in HD if the PC doesn't support it. I thought I would be ok, guess not... I like my life cam better than this.

Excellent all around
An excellent deal, and a very good product, except the creative application for video,snapshots,visual effects,etc. could be less processor intensive.
