Defective
Sent the first one back: would not transmit; its replacement would not power up; push switch, no response. switched power cord with a working speaker, and still no power, so problem is in the speaker itself. Hope the third time is a charm; tired of visiting the local postoffice to make the returns.

Only one design flaw
I bought the speakers on sale, so the price was fair. Would have preferred them in white, but the white ones were $10.00 more. My only complaint is the design of the volume control. It's very difficult to grasp so adjusting the sound can be frustrating. Since they're being used outside, I wish they were louder.

The volume is hard to use and it has a noise all the time, rather like a irritating white noise always in the background. I had a lot of trouble getting it to work at all and I have not decided if it will be worth keeping or not. I wouldn't have reviewed the purchase at this time if I had not been asked too.

VOLUME CONTROL ON TOP DIAL!
Some people in reviews back have already noted but once again I would like to point out the top dial spins for volume and it is shipped with volume off. Sound isn't bad, but not the greatest either.
