Not the greatest Laptop
WE bought this laptop for our daughters 18th birhtday 4 weeks agao & she has only been able to really use it a couple of times as it keeps wanting to update & the updates take anywhere from 6-19 hours which is totally ridiculous. I do not know why it has so much stuff to update & why it takes as long as it does. Also I have gotten no help in resolving this issue.

HP has never let me down
It's a great laptop for the younger crowd. Using it for surfing the internet, downloading music ect Is is quite a bit slower than I had expected though. That would probably vbe the only disappountment I have in it. Great for the price

Great deal
We bought this for my 12 year old son. We researched laptop for 2 months and this by far was the best deal. It is fast and easy to reimage. Yes, we had a lot to learn about internet safety...

Great value!
I bought this laptop for my daughter and son in law for Christmas. I've worked with laptops and tablet PCs for decades. The HPs never seem to die. This one is a great value. I'm impressed with it and surprised it is as light weight as it is. My two year old HP HDX is much heavier.

Great replacement for my Compaq
This is a good laptop. It is replacing my Compaq V5000 and has been anexcellent replacement to date. Still figuring out Windows 7 but hasn't been too much of a shock to transition from xp.
