Actually a pretty good set of speakers with not bad sound.....but as mentioned in another review, after about 6 weeks of use, the power switch refuses to work, meaning either send them in for a 2 - 3 month warrenty fix, or tear the unit apart and fix it yourself. I would NOT recommend these speakers based purely on the 1 - 2 month life span of the power system.

I used them for about 1 and half month...they were great, but just now, March 11, 2005. It died on me, power is lost. and you can even unscrew 2 screws, cuz its too deep in.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The product is grainy at best for sound and then just as the unit comes up onto the warranty period, the main console card expires and needs serviable repair which is at the customers expense.

These are pretty good speakers for only 40 bucks. I'm using them now, theyre great for music and playin games. I can't really compare them to any other speakers because all of my old speakers were really bad but these are great. It puts you right in the game with the surround sound and the subwoofer. I'd recommend going with these speakers.
