Loads DD-WRT
This loads DD-WRT out of the box, and that's what I did. Nice to have 8 ports without having to plug in a switch, just a shame that they are not gigabit ports. I've had 2 of these for about 3 weeks, and have configured one as a client (unbridged) and one as an access point. So far no problems. DD-WRT does not support repeater mode (as of May 2013) on routers with this chipset.

Too many connection timeouts resets
I can't complete an internet session without pages not fully loading or the connection being reset. I've user this laptop in many different environments, as well as directly wired into the modem, and this is the only router that has given me these issues. Too bad, since I bought two of them when they were on sale for a great price, but in this case I got exactly what I paid for. Had to return both

Don't buy this router!
This router has exceptionally good features, and one of the best admin interfaces in the market, but it has one fatal flaw: it hangs completely (to the point it stops broadcasting its SSID or routing any traffic) every day or so. I tried flashing to the latest firmware, which did not solve the problem. I read on the Internet that the problem only occurs if you have Android devices in your network, but I don't have a good way to test this (too many Androids in mine to shut them all off).

Exceptional, especially for the price
This router was easy to set up, reliable, and feature packed. I was anticipating adding a network access point in the other end of the building, but after installing this router, good connection quality extends far beyond the wall of the office space I put it in.

It is a strange product
It is a strange product because there are articles all over the internet saying this product stuck from time to time, and there is not improvement. My router came on time. After installation everything was fine. However the next day it is dead and I had to restart it. It happened everyday after. I had to download another firmware and loaded to the router. After that it works fine. I am wondering why D-link does not fix the problem in its firmware.
