Great for doorbell and landline
We actually use it to alert our gamer son when we want him to come downstairs. So, the doorbell is just installed in the kitchen. We connected the device to the lamp on his desk. Now, we simply press the 'doorbell' in the kitchen. The Clarity alert box lights up and flashes his desk lamp so even with his head phones on, he knows we're trying to reach him. Works great! There is no landline in his room so we cannot connect the phone to the alert system. Wish there was a way to make it work with cell phones or something.
