Works well for my needs (wich are very simple)
I am not super technical and I got it working right away. My needs are simple - straight capture of the video signal so I can transfer it to dvds to share with my family. I also like that you can get it to segment what is being captured into what will fit on dvds (for example if the data I am transferring from the video camera in a continuous stream will only fit on 3 DVDs the product can automatically detect when to close the first file and open another to continue. The other product that I was using before would not do this and I would have to set a timer or guess as to when I had captured one dvd's worth of data and that was very inconvenient. I have not used the editing software so cannot comment on it.

Good Value
Sound and video capture from VHS camera play back. Worked fine. Using the devise to digitize old VHS family movies.

Decent for price.
It works, i can capture video with about a half second lag(compared to TV)and its quality is good enough for gaming, however the software is ok, there is much better software available. The manual is no help though, if you have issues setting it up, try youtube.

Amazing Capture Device Excellent Value
This is an incredible device particularly if you are using it to digitized analog video. I did a side by side (split screen) comparison and could not detect any loss in video or audio quality. Comes complete with all necessary cables, is incredibly easy to set up, and the capture software is as easy to use as it gets. The cables that come in the box alone have to be worth the price of this unit. At under $25.00 this product is an amazing value and produces quality results.
