Expensive Paperweight

6 Months
I used this device for 6 months and it stopped transferring data at that point. I transferred about 1.7 terabytes of data before it no-longer worked. I also left it on idle for several hours every time I was transferring data. If you plan on using this device heavily I would be prepared to ship it back to the manufacturer for the warranty replacement guarantee. I had no problems with the customer service through Thermaltake.

It does what it's advertised for.
Works fine. But the device is a bit big and could of had more features like a card reader or something. As for performace, well it's as fast as the hard drive will read-write the data...

Performance and reliability good..
Just ordered this to copy data from USB to new PC. I was worried when I read reviews of some of the other competing docking stations about disconnects. I had this connected for about 3 days xferring data back-forth without any issues.

Almost perfect dock
Bought this as an upgrade to the Thermaltake HD Dock that featured both USB 2.0 and eSATA connections. Solid overall device, has no problems interfacing with both 2.5 and 3.5 SATA HDs, and the USB 3.0 transfer speeds are great. Only real drawback is that it lacks the eSATA of it's predecessor, but that's a minor quibble at best. Fit expectations, and happy with the purchase.
