It works. Loud but not THAT loud
I installed this to warn me of water coming up through the drain in my basement because of snow melt. When installing it, I tested it in water. I was surprised that it honestly was not that loud. I'll hear it throughout our small house, but it's not loud enough that I'd hear it if I was outside the front door. It's a very basic flood alarm. No extra features for sensitivity, etc. That being said, it's cheap to purchase and does the job I need it to do. Much cheaper than just about every other water alarm (which may not have more features or a louder alarm anyway).
