Great Little Radio
I looked all over for a good portable radio under $100 and lucked out in finding, and choosing, this one. The features are minimal but all that are necessary. It pulls in all the stations clear and static free. Most impressive is the tuning dial and associated station numbers. The dial is large, turns easily and with precision making it easy to lock onto a station. The linear station markings are clear, well spaced and accurate adding greatly to the ease of locating your station. I'd only change two things: First, the tone switch only has 2 settings and I'd have preferred a continuous tone dial. Second, it would make life easier if there were some preset buttons so you could lock in your favorite stations for fast switching. However, for the price of this radio, I'm totally satisfied with it as is and couldn't find anything better at twice the price or more.

Very Good Radio
Beats the AM portion of the C-Crane 2 radio. I know because I own a C-Crane 2 Radio. Listen to stations 600 miles out after sunset with very little static. From my location in north central Arkansas, after sunset, I listen to stations in Chicago, St Louis, Nashville, Louisville, New Orleans, San Antonio. Dallas, Houston and Oklahoma City.

Good Quality, Low Price
I wanted a decent quality, basic, small radio for not a lot of money. This one does what it says it will do, didn't cost much, and fits my requirements.

While worth owning.
If you want a portable good at pulling in stations this is the radio to get. I have a Bose wave(the big one) and the Sony pulls in the stations better than the wave doesn't sound as good but pulls the stations in.
