90 degrees up, not down
The only gripe I have about this cable is that it plugs into my router sticking up instead of down. The top of the cable is about 3 inches higher than the top of the router (it's lower than the antennae), which doesn't look good with the router sitting on the desk.

Good quality essential.
I bought this together with the powerline adapter with the thought that the ones coming with the kit might not be long enough for my purpose. The router to which one of the powerline units must be attached was on top of a tall pc wall unit. This just served my purpose. The quality is good and the 90 degree angle one end of the cable is very helpful ended.
