Hawking Technology's HOWABN1 puts multiple solutions into one weather proof outdoor unit. The Hi-Gain Outdoor Wireless-N Multifunction Access Point functions as an Outdoor Wireless-N Access Point, Universal Repeater or Ethernet Bridge. It features a Power over Ethernet connection and includes wall and pole mounting kits for easy installation and setup.

- The Hi-Gain Outdoor Wireless-N Multifunction Access Point functions as an Outdoor Wireless-N Access Point, Universal Repeater or Ethernet Bridge.
Outdoor Wireless-N Access Point Mode
Create a wireless network in an outdoor or indoor location by setting the HOWABN1 in Access Point mode. In Access Point mode the HOWABN1 enables wireless access to any existing wired networking.
Outdoor Wireless-N Bridge Mode
Enable any wired Ethernet-ready device or existing wired network to connect to your existing wireless network using the HOWABN1. Wirelessly connect the network of your remote office building to your main office building easily by setting the HOWABN1 in Bridge Mode.
Outdoor Wireless-N Universal Repeater Mode
Repeat the wireless signal from your existing network and extend the total wireless range of your network to an outdoor location. Setting up the HOWABN1 in Universal Repeater mode allows you to extend the range from an indoor or outdoor Wi-Fi network to your desired new location.

Easy to Install, works, but original unit was DOA.
Ordered one and spent a whole lot of time trying to install it. Pounded away for hours. Something didn't seem right because LAN never showed activity through unit. Was on phone with Hawking for over an hour. Sorry to say but I sank about 10 hours on this dead unit thinking I was doing something wrong. After I got replacement unit, I was up and running in 15 minutes--It helped that I had already read the users manual from front to back. Now, unit working good, and quite happy. I want to get another. Love the single wire supply!

Amazing powerful AP
This is a robust and powerful access point!! Using 3 of them on wds mode to extend signal on my property so I can connect wireless cameras. Great solution and no issue setting them up. POE adapter was included which is a big plus. Mounting bracket is heavy duty

It Died!
Configured Access Point and all was well. Then installed it on the pole, plugged in and it was dead. Called Hawking and found that 250' of cable is too far for it and the POE shorted out the unit. Too bad there is nothing in the description or material in the box to let you know this!

Great Access point!!
Installed this at my friends 2 acre property. Got oustanding signal in the shed which is about 100 yards from the main house.It came ready with POE and I have no complains
