Works Great
I get the maximum I can out of this card running on at PCIe 2.0. Much faster than running on the onboard SATA II. Maxed out at about 450mb read 300mb write on a Corsair Force GT

Better than SATA 2, but not by much
If you're expecting 6Gb transfer out of this card, think again. It's certainly better than sata 3G, but there are things to consider. 1st, a pci-e 2.0 1x only has 5Gb of bandwidth. Next, the sata controller takes 1.5Gb off the top. So your max transfer will be about 250MB per second writes and 400MB per second reads. If that's ok with you, then the card itself works fine. ut like I said, don't expect to get full bandwidth out of that new sata 6Gb drive you bought using this card.

Works!
I put this in a 3gig mobo to use 2 SATA6 HDD's. works out of box but documentation is engrish. You need a long eSATA to SATA adapter if you want to use a basic HDD inside the box.

If you have a need get it
I had bought a 64 GB SSD drive with the ablity to go from 3GB to 6GB SATA. So I put it in and they both started up an WIN 7 read the PCIE card and it was the differnce between night and Day. This is the card if you want a faster computer.
