Great GPS for an amazing price!
I really like the intuitive user interface. The only downside really is having to push a few more buttons to get the text directions (as opposed to the garmin which is one button). Other than that, everything is great! :)

Long life to TomTom!
I like TomToms ; this is my 2nd. The first one is a cheaper model. I do enjoy the life-time maps and traffic updates of this new model. Let's wish this TomTom a long life!

Good but makes mistakes
We bought this unit strictly for the free lifetime traffic updates but we decided to try it out on our recent trip. At maximum volume, it was very hard to hear. Also, several times we were directed wrongly. Does not announce street names where to turn, so you have to look at the unit--not the safest thing to do. Haven't learned how to access the traffic updates although it did automatically find a shorter route with less traffic twice, & asked if we wanted to reroute. All in all, a nice little unit for the price. My previous units (one Magellan, one built-in GPS in my Honda) also make errors. It's a learning experience, e.g. which street to turn on (here?).

TomTom the BombBomb!!!
Worked great right out of the box. Drove Virginia Beach to Lynchburg to DC all in same day with no problems using back roads and state highways.
