Great Experience 1yr Later
A good Drive, with no major problems. I bought one of these about a year ago. I write the purchase date on every drive with a sharpie so I can estimate how much life I get out of them. This tends to flavor my perception of brands. I've had relatively bad luck with Hitachi and IBM DeskStars, and mixed luck with Western Digital Drives. No complaints here. I did shut off DiskKeeper (continuous defrag) because I feared premature ware and it kept the drive from hibornating. I use it for streaming HD (1080p - mkv) video. At 95% full running DiskKeeper, I did notice some glitches PAR2 checks of new files. Random PAR2 failures on every rebuild. Cut back to at least 10% free space and killed DK and all is good again. I plan to move this to a NAS enclosure soon.

Good Harddrive
I would say Plus + for this drive, run cool & I would definately recommends it.
