Great Camera
Bought the S7 a couple of weeks ago. Not sure about the other rewiews, but this is a great second camera. I use it for work and have carried it everywhere. So far it has operated flawlessly. Great value and a great price. The night shot is great as well. I have not had any problems with the camera... None. Operates as advertized. Light, small, no problems with battery life, great movie clips as well. Overall a great find and would recommend to all. If you want a great general purpose camers with night vision, this is the one you want.

Forget the IR flash
I bought this camera for ghost hunting because of the IR feature. Well, the IR flash didn't work for long but even when it did it didn't work very well. I eventually bought a bracket to mount it to and use a separate IR light which works better because it puts out more light. I would suggest doing that anyway even if you get lucky and yours does work. It will get you a good pic even under normal conditions so it's worth the price just for the camera itself even if you never use the IR feature. It's also very small so toss it in your pocket and you won't even notice it's there. The only other down side it it uses a Cell phone battery. It would have been more convenient if it used AAA batteries. You can charge it by plugging it into a USB port of your laptop or a wall plug.

Failed within the 1st week
The night vision caught my attention. It does work but that feature failed within the 1st week. Instruction manual is beyond lousy. keep the box because you may need to return it. this company was outstanding in helping me to exchange the defective one. The replacement has worked flawlessly for 3 days. I hope it continues.
