The Amigo II USB sound card adds a stereo output and mic input to a Mac or PC and converts a standard headset into a USB headset. Great product, great price!
Great product! Bought this to replace the broken audio jack on my laptop and it work like a charm. Simple, and easy to use. Just plug it in, and its ready to use. Love it!

If you own a Turtle Beach headset...
you owe it to yourself to connect it to a TB USB sound card. I recently came across a TB Earforce Z1 headset locally and needed the additional power from the Amigo II to drive the microphone when connected to my Macs. The Amigo II works flawlessly on both my Tiger systems and my Snow Leopard systems and provides amazing sound through the Earforce headset. I also own a TB Audio Advantage Micro, which only provides audio out, and I must say that I've been noting but pleased with TB. They make great products that are versatile enough for almost anything.

works as advertised... sound quality is very good My new Imac came with a faulty jack and this was the least painless fix option.

Worked for my son!
My son broke the jack in his laptop and he has noise cancelling headphones, so he was heart broken. We looked into fixing it but couldn't figure out how to and then I ran across this baby... he loves it!

It works well but...
It only has two channels so it did not work for what I intended it for. However, it did function as an additional sound card and its performance was just fine. For the same or even less money, I suggest investing in a 5.1 or 7.1 external card.
