Simply AWESOME!!!!!
I bought the laptop on late Nov. 2011 and got it mid-December. I am in Afghanistan and travel a lot so it took me a while to receive it, but let me tell you...it was worth the wait. Everything I throw at it it can handle. The gaming is amazingly beautiful, bad sound through HDMI, tough built, I mean every task that I have to do I have no problem doing it. About a week ago I installed Skyrim and I had to download new drivers for the Nvidia card, but that's normal. The game looks and performs GREAT!!! When I bought it the offer for the free Batman game was on.

Great laptop
I got this laptop when it was on sale and you couldn't find anything better for the price. It's a great laptop that's faster than my recent desktop. It plays Skyrim very well. The 5400 RPM hard drive is a bit slow, but it has an empty hard drive bay where I installed a SSD, and now it's also really fast to boot and load programs. Installing the second hard drive is an involved process, but there's some good guides online. It also has two empty ram slots, so I bought 2x4GB of RAM for $40 to bring it up to 16GB.

ASus G53Sx-XT1
Awesome laptop. Worst WIFI card ever.. UPGRADE to the Intel card (call to upgrade if possible) the 560m GTX is amazing. I get fantastic frame rates with every game I play. The i7 is really fast as well. Asus is a pretty reliable company and have been around forever.

Great gaming computer for the price
You've got to love the i7 processor and the NVidia video card. But the 5400RPM hard drive kills what could be a perfect machine. It does run a bit hotter than expected given the oversized cooling system.

Great laptop for gaming
Got this for my husband. The pros are great features for the price (on sale at Black Friday was great price), backlit keyboard, stays cool, great design, fast, great picture, no problems with gaming whatsoever. Cons: keyboard and back of screen bend too much, they have too much give and worried it could get damaged. Also it is very heavy and we travel extensively. All in all, great buy!
