My only problem setting it up was getting some sense knocked into Windows - so what's new. It covers the whole house well enough and there have been no problems with the phone interfering.

I have had this router for 4-5 years and have nothing negative to say, can get a signal in my garage 65' away through every wall in my house and down two levels. Some people say 108 is no faster than 54 and I call bulls*@#, if you can get it to connect at 108 and you have a fast computer you will see a difference, downloaded a 500MB file in about 4 minutes, Mp3s in seconds. I just ordered a RangeMax 108 Router and 108 PCI card so the kids can have , I love Netgear!

This is a refurbished router which installed very easily with included instructions. I am using it with two desktops and one laptop computer in different parts of the house and it has worked flawlessly since installation. This is my first experience and use of wireless equipment. Love those pretty lights. I picked this router because of price and greater security capability than many others. I am using NetGear WG111T adapters in the desktops which have also worked without a hitch. Have to download drivers for those, though, but no problems there.

Got a refurbished one ($25) and it works perfectly well, together with an $19 (T311) transmitter. Wireless at its cheapest!

I received this product yesterday, with no supporting documentation or installation instructions. Netgear did not help at all either. I cannot even register their product via their bozo website.
However, installing the product was so easy, I found out I did not need anything in writing. I just plugged in the router to my broadband cable modem, and then plugged the power in to the router. Then I hooked up my ethernet cables to my computers. The first one I hooked up was a new Compaq laptop computer with Windows Vista.
It automatically detected the router and took me to the router website, where I clicked four times to set my password and security features I wanted.
Within five minutes, I was online and running behind a firewalled router with high security encryption. I am impressed...

Delivery was quick. This router is the easiest and quickest one I've ever had to configure. The wizard did it all for me and it was all perfect the first time. I didn't have to troubleshoot at all. Without the CD that it came with, it would probably have been more work to set up. I estimate that it took about 15 minutes to set up. I selected WEP security, the wizard generated a key and that's the key I entered on my laptop to access the Internet. In a 3-floor house, the signal was strong and I don't even have a 108 wireless card. There were no issues. I would have liked a better price (lower).

First off let me say I have no opportunity to test full 108 speed and I don't care. But for what it is, it's a great little router. A few things to consider though. 1) it has innumerable setup options and unless you know what you're doing you can get in trouble. 2) Xbox live REQUIRES two ports set for port triggering. 3) I installed and then backed off the latest version of the firmware because I felt is was less stable than the prior level. I may revisit that again. 4) Do not place anything on it or another device under it if you have it flat. It runs warm, even hot. 5) It is a little cranky with my Centillium MTA-1 VoIP TA running behind not in front of the router. Some service dropouts with AT&T VoIP.

This router is junk. Also, if you buy the referbished one, Netgear will not give you any customer support at all because it wasn't new.

Buy this Netgear / WGT624 / 108Mbps / 802.11g, if you have any plan to buy LinkSys, 'Drop' it for good. I suffered long time with Linksys with connection problem and resetting everytime.. Netgear / WGT624, is a good router, detects network by itself. You may set it in ''Bridge mode''. Streamline video is awesome. No connection or drop internet problem.

This router tends to overheat then reset, dropping the connection in the process. I found that having it stand sideways helps it to cool down (rather than having it lay flat on the table).
Otherwise, good performance, easy installation and good HTTP web interface to monitor and control the router.
