Ease of use

Plug it in and your done. My Laptop had no built in Camera, and I needed to Skype. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I did want a camera that gave me a good picture, and sound. This one worked perfect. In fact its a better resolution than another laptop as we conferenced with each other. Don't hesitate if you have a need for a web camera

Best Cam Resolution on The Market

This is my third webcam by Logitech and each one was better then the other. It is amazing how clear the picture is on the cam. Doesn't get any better. Only deal is no effects!!

This Webcam has worked well

I am probably NOT the best reviewer for this item because I don't really know anything about them. I researched them a bit and bought this one after having a need for SKYPE with an associate in my business. It has worked VERY well for this, and I am happy with his ability to see me and hear me. It has a lot of features that I have not used, so over the next few months I am going to experiment a bit. I would reccoment this webcam.

First Web Camera i ever had. So far so good; it doesn't clip on but it balance it self well on top of my LCD Tv, video quality its pretty good. I will keep you updated if any issues or change of mind.

Sharp and accurate

This cam renders colors much better, and details much sharper, than the one built into my Lenovo's bezel. It perches on top my screen by balancing with its fold-down base behind the lid, so it can be knocked around if you're not careful, but otherwise it is surprisingly stable. When used with Skype, it sometimes randomly switches between normal and widescreen aspect ratios, but I believe that is a problem with Skype's software rather than the Logitech driver because it doesn't do that with any other apps.

Love It

We love everything about it except the mounting mechanism. That is a bit annoying--keeps moving around.

Logitech HD Webcam C525

The Webcam C525 sits securely on top of my CRT monitor and would probably also sit well on a flat screen. It easily adjusts to view the person in front of it - tall or petite, and the auto-focus feature works well. I am sure that someone with more technical knowledge would be able to set it up better than I did, but I had trouble adjusting the lighting in the room. I do not know whether this is how I look to people viewing it, or if they see it somewhat different - I hope so. To me, I look yellow and lit to one side, even though I had the wall lights on at the back of the room on both sides of me. Also, I get notices from my computer that the device is plugged into a ???1 port, and that it would work better if it were plugged into a ???2 port, which is probably in the back of my computer and not very accessible, since it is under my desk against a wall. People on the other end tell me I look nice. A step-by-step set-up video tutorial would probably help.
