A Reader For A Netbook
Nice little unit - does exactly what it's supposed to do. I bought it for a netbook that needed a means of booting from optical media for various reasons - it's a reader, not a writer, and that's all I need it for. Seems to run fine off a single USB port and it doesn't suck battery like some more powerful units.

pretty good deal (so far)
I paid $24.25 including shipping for this little DVD ROM drive. It worked immediately with no issues and we'll see if it stands up to continued usage. for the price, it deserves 5 stars!

Not good for gaming
Works okay as a CD reader, but my son tried to play one of his computer games that requires the CD and it didn't work at all. Best as solely a reader.
