Seems to work well!
I received the card promptly and installed it in about 5 minutes in a PC running Windows XP. The provided CD with the drivers proved useless and would not install either in autoplay or when the CD was accessed independently. It was easy enough to locate drivers on line and once downloaded the card appears to work fine and all parameters in the Hardware manager are OK. I can't imagine you could find a USB 3.0 port for less money.

No Problems
Installed without a hitch. Works fine for my USB 3.0 External drive. USB 3.0 speed increase very noticable after using USB 2.0 external drive.

works after digging for alternate drivers
Installed it but was concerned that I couldn't reach with any 4-pin power connector from my PSU. It wasn't required though since the USB 3.0 external HD I was attempting to hook up has its own power source. The cd that shipped with it was unreadable on my optical drive so I had to go looking for the drivers online. The Downloads section on Masscool's product page comes up blank. After a bit of searching, came up with this which worked on my Win7 x64 machine: USB3 Controller (uPD720200 & uPD720200a) Drivers Version 2.1.27.0 (station-drivers d0t c0m) After all that, I'm not sure I see a difference. Maybe it is the drivers...?

Good Product
This is a good product and a good value. It installed easily on my new Compaq Presario and works just fine with Windows 7. I certainly don't understand why the other people had problems with it. For $19.95 I'd buy another one!

driver
I received the card, installed it and of course Windows 7 did not recognize it. I started researching and found others that have this card and discovered that a driver CD was supposed to come with it. Mine did not have one.I was unable to find a driver on their site. I found another driver that worked.

Great card!
Great product, inexpensive price. Have been using it for a few months now on my system and definitely see the faster speed transfer of large files, 4 to 7 GB with this card to my external USB3.0 hard drive. Easy to install card and drivers.

what's the diff?
My friend insisted that I get this card to go along with my 2 tb drive where I store 2 and 3 gb files. Quite honestly, I see no discernible difference.

Card crashes computer
On a fresh Windows 7 x64 setup I installed the card. As soon as drivers were installed (the old drivers sent on a disk) the computer hard froze. I then went to the Masscool site to grab new drivers... there were none. No drivers at all for this card. I then tracked down the chipset on the card, found who made the thing, got new drivers. Same problem. Instant hard freeze and crash. I sent an email to Masscool... no response. I sent a second. Nothing yet. Taking the card from the machine... no problem. It's just the instant a driver is installed and the machine recognizes the card... it's a full freeze.
