When inserted, the USB 3.0 ports provided by the ExpressCard adapter sit flush with the sides of the laptop, creating a seamless add-on that can be left installed even while on the move, without having to worry about impact damage to either the card or the ExpressCard slot.
The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card supports data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps, and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 (at up to 480Mbps), or USB 1.1/1.0 at up to 12/1.5 Mbps respectively - the perfect laptop accessory for users to connect USB devices, both new and old.

Works Great, Exactly What I Needed
I was skeptical when I bought this to use with a usb 3.0 external hard drive, but it works perfectly. It greatly increased transfer speeds and was well worth the money. With the flush fit you really don't even know it's there until you need it. Like other stated, sometimes when you pull the USB device out it will pull the entire card out; but it's not a big deal.

Works well
This device really speeds up communication with many peripherals. I have a five year old Dell which I have upgraded with an SSD and four gig of RAM. This adapter completes the upgrade. It does tend to pop out, though, when you pull out the USB cable. But this is a very minor issue; I just hold the card in when pulling out cable.

Great Card Dont Loose The Driver Disc!
Only worked with the supplied driver disc, the manufacturer web site did not have a working driver posted. Otherwise excellent.
