This revolutionary Pioneer BDR-2205 Blu-Ray Burner will write up to 12x on BD-R (25Gbytes) and BD-R DL (50Gbytes) media. It allows users to author high-definition Blu-ray Disc content while also delivering the ability for high-capacity data storage. One BD-R DL disc will hold the same amount of data as 10 DVDs (single layer).
The Pioneer BDR-2205 Blu-Ray Burner includes a premium suite of software from CyberLink that includes BD/DVD authoring, BD/DVD/CD playback, and backup software.

Blank Media
I thank the Burner is very good, but i can't find a blank media to use with my Burner. I Want to burn a blu-ray DVD Movie. Can Anyone help me.

Very good so far...
I have not tried to burn a Blu-ray yet (no purpose or media yet) but I did burn a DVD -R (4X). The total time to burn was about 7 minutes! I did try it to watch a Blu-ray movie and it performed flawlessly! I have not had any bad experiences yet and I hope not to. All in all this has been an excellent purchase! (I also updated the firmware as soon as it was completely installed.)

Good product, good software, poor tech support!
After a week with the unit, at least I was able to burn data on a BR disk. It took 13 minutes (10x media) to burn and worked flawlessly. The initial problem was with the software. It did not showed options for a blu ray. Customer support -horrible! Kept receiving the same (non effective)solution over and over. I managed to troubleshoot: I've had installed the software without the hardware installed. So I uninstalled and reinstalled with the unit operational. Then all worked. Cyberlink's software is good but their help is not!
