Works Great, but not on the computer I got it for
Works on my machine with Vista, but I got it for the computer in my trailer which is a Window 2000 pro, the driver does not work.. My bad i guess.. Rick

Great Product
I was using a WPN111 and it began to fail. Constant over heating and signal loss. This adapter works great! You must go to the Netgear website to download the driver. It is sent in a Zip file and must be converted for loading. After that everything worked great. Good buy for the money!

2nd one that didn't work
it has to have software or driver,,, didn't come with any called netgear they blew me off,, so I threw them away,,, junk. the store down the street sells one that works for less money,,,sometimes the internet is bad karma

Wireless USB Adapter
Reliable connection at 130mbps to a 300mbps router 15 feet away, using the Windows 7 built-in driver, doesn't get hot, never drops connection. Re-connects in about 5 seconds after sleep.

wireless usb adapter
I already had a Netgear router which I have used for about two years. This usb adapter worked great right out of the box. I connected it to a computer in my living room and used my TV as my monitor. My router,TV,and wireless adapter all are re-certified products. I am a very happy customer

best i've found
This is the best high speed adapter I've found thus far. The flexibility of moving the device via the USB extension cord really helps. You can locate the best place for it. In one application, I used a 20' USB extension cord to get it closes to the best spot in a condo. Good value too. I've never had a problem with a refurbished product.

Good for the Price
Consistently connects at 130 Mbps even though both router and adapter are rated to 300. Doesn't seem to matter where in the house I locate. I am using this to connect and stream to a HP Entertainment PC laptop. So far it has only disconnected on me a couple of time, and once reconnected stays. Still better than the built in G at 54Mbps.

Good Quality
Worked first time out of the box downloaded automatically and still working on my laptop. The second one I had to download the drivers from the internet then save to flash then install (glad I had ISP connection or I would have a problem). I bought them for an ad-hoc wireless network using a gateway, works like a charm.

Works great !!!!!
This product solved my fathers connection problems. The fact that you do not receive any software is a down side but it is easily downloaded providing you already have a working internet connection.

OK ethernet adapter
this ethernet adapter is a decent choice if you want a cheap and easy to use adapter but it seems like my computer hates the thing it will work on my mom's computer and my sister's computer but not on mine. If you want my advice go for an internal adapter they may cost a bit more but are well worth it
