By increasing the frequency of error correction up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, the DECT 6.0 Panasonic KX-TG6513B Digital Cordless Phone won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.
Intelligent Eco Mode
This clever new feature of the Panasonic KX-TG6513B Digital Cordless Phone automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.

They just all stopped working
I am very aggravated I spent $75 for these phones and 6 months later they have all died and nothing is working.

Best handsets we have had yet
Bought these to replace a set of VTech handsets that would not hold charge after two years. But really, no one like the VTech sets. These have great sound quality and range. The feature set is right - the VoIP service already has VM and I like that the handsets don't pretend I need it. The VM detection worked out of the box.

Better than previous model but still not perfect
Previous model I owned had volume problems. This model is just slightly louder. Why they can't boost the volume higher on the max setting is beyond me. Range is great. Visibility of readout is very good. Buttons are better. No exposed antenna.
