Heat Problems?
This is a great card, mine idles at 38 degrees and never goes above 65 degrees, even when overclocked more on top of the factory overclock. For those of you having heat problems with this card, you need to brush up on case air flow. This is a performance card, which brings with it performance heat. This card does not belong in a $30 mid tower off an auction site. This card belongs in a full tower with good airflow. If the rest of your system is at the level of this video card, then those to are performance parts bringing performance heat. Once the case door goes on, your video cards are already blowing warm air through, that has been heated by the rest of your system. Someone said they have this card and it overheats

Great Price and performace
I got with a rebate so the price was great and speed is great. I currently have it overclocked to a stock GTX 485 so that is great. I upgraded from 2 9800 GTs in SLI. And have great 3D Vantage scores, top 25% now. And for games, everything runs great and smooth. The only game I have played a lot in 1 week is LOTRO and I am consisently above 100fps with nearly everything at max (so features I dont like-personal preference).

Great card if it's on sale
I upgraded from an 8800gts 320mb card that I've hard for a few years. Only reason I upgraded is because I got a new 24 inch monitor. Great performer, does run hot and loud. But I do get more than 80 fps. If you can find this card on sale buy it. I bought it for the same price as a 460 after rebates. Worth it.

Nice price vs performance
I Picked one of these up about a month ago. It is large, but cards have been large since the 8800 series which is what I replaced. Fit just fine in my Mys tique case, but it is not the best looking card but honestly does a pretty shroud make your card any better? The card runs great and handles BF2 with everything maxed. My only complaint and I knew this going in is this thing is freaking loud when under load. In fact my wife was in the other room and commented on the fan noise. If you can live with the noise and the heat this thing generates then pick one up. When I got mine I could not find a great deal on a 5850 so for 269 minus 30 rebate it was hard to pass on.
