Apricorn EZ Upgrade Universal Kit - storage Product Details
Product Details
First, slide the new hard drive into the EZ Upgrade enclosure, using the included USB cable; connect the EZ Upgrade to the notebook's USB port. Next, run the Windows or Mac cloning software using the bootable CD and follow the prompts. Finally, install the new hard drive into the notebook, complete with operating system, favorites and all your files and folders just the way you like them.
Once the new drive is installed, the old drive can be used in EZ Upgrade's Hi-Speed USB 2.0 enclosure for external storage. When used with Apricorn's Upgrade Suite EZ Gig II backup software, the external drive becomes a state-of-the-art backup solution.

Did not get the job done
It was not easy as they say it was,it did not work with my seagate drive,so I'm just using the external case with my old drive, software did noting for me.

Hidden costs are too high!
Bought it following the star rating, it did clone my old HDD on the new one, but destroyed the remaining space of new one. Now my new HDD is an exact copy of old one; by content and size both! and their customer care kept singing the same tune again and again. Determine how much your mental peace is worth, multiply that by 2, add that to the cost of this item and then decide whether it would justify that investment?
