Had this router for 2 years before the broadcast attena gave out and stopped giving out a signal.
Everything else is still working, so now I'm just using it as a hub/wired router for some servers.
You can get a better router now a days for the same price but, 2 years ago this was one of the only router budget products. Belkin makes a quality product and doesn't ask for much money for it.
Does the job, also as strong firmware and firewall to protect you from intruders/hackers.
Was time to move up to 802.11N standard anyways..lol |
Never think about it -- that's how it ought to be.

Took 2 short calls to Belkin--AWESOME help--the first evening for set up. Haven't thought about it since. Have it on second floor, use it in the basement, no problem. |

I have had this modem for approx a year... have the latest firmware update but it hasn't stopped the constant dropping of the wireless signal. The laptop is only 30 ft away (w/o barriers)so it's not signal strength and the router is configured correctly. I too have IT and networking experience so I DO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING ''PHIL''... This is the worst router i have ever used, the signal constantly drops and i have restarted this router so much that the cables fall out of the ports by themselves now, avoid, anything else would be good. |

This is probably the worst router on the current market. It constantly drops the signal, increases lag in the network (we own an Xbox 360), and after a while, the ports stop working. We are currently on our second one, and are not satisfied with this router. At all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. |

I have several of these within our locations and have been working since the day we got them. I also have a couple at home, work great. Signal is good, easy to set up. |

Normally Belkin makes really good products, but these routers are semi-decent at best. They last about a year before they start dropping the wireless signal constantly. Go out and spend the 60 bucks to buy a good-quality LinkSys instead. |

Bought this router over a year ago and at first it would start a web page and then would freeze up. Did some research and found that the firmware needed upgraded. After the firmware upgrade I have not had any troubles. I get excellent signal even through my block walls. Thinking of buying one for my mother in-law since I know the ins and outs of this router. |

Nothing but trouble with the Belkin. I substitued it with a more expensive Linksys G router and the Linksys works great now. |
