Not bad, but slow to connect
I've had this for a while now & it looks like they're either stopped selling these or they sell so many they can't keep them in stock. Probably the first one. I installed this pretty easily, but tried to go to their web site & download the latest driver & that hosed up everything. I had to remove the whole installation & just install the one that came in the package. I find that this is slow to find my network & it CANNOT setup without the SSID on from the AP. It has no manual installation. It does (or at least mine did) have a little extender gizmo that allows me to plug in the extender & plug this into that. I don't have to reach down behind the PC to plug it in & it has better reception since the NIC is up by the monitor & not in the USB port. If I would have bought mine for 10 bucks like the one person did, I would have like this more. I paid too much for mine. I find D-Link products to be a bit flaky.

Works as advertised
It took only a few minutes to set up on my old Windows XP laptop. The only problems are that it takes a long time for the NIC to connect, and it does not connect at full speed. But that could be because there are 4 walls between the router and the NIC. The USB extension cord doubles as a nice paper weight, which is much better than the usual extension that just leaves the NIC hanging. Overall, I'm very satisfied, especially for $10.

Install was easy and made sense. I also like the cradle for the Dongle.

not the best performance
was getting 65mbs when it says up to 300mbs and kept losing wireless signal. Definaly prefer linksys
