Excellent purchase for budget shoppers
I was concerned about buying an off-lease machine, and the first unit had a weird noise coming out of it and the screen was very dim (but to the refurb companies credit, it was replaced quickly with no hassles). The m6400 weighs a ton, so its not really a laptop - more of desktop replacement. As such its a really great machine - all metal & solidly built, and easy to open up for memory,hd,wireless upgrades. The two drive bays meant I could finally get the SD drive I wanted, and boy did it ever make a difference! With the Dell port replicator, extra monitors are easy to deal with cleanly on the desktop. I upgraded the wireless card to the intel 5300 ($15 on ebay) which vastly improved wifi signal. Overall, thinking of buying another m6400 unit...I am that happy with it so far.

Super Quick & Easy
The initial product key entry and startup took less than 30 minutes. It works great and fast. Santa brought it for my son who plays pre-school games online. Everything works super fast, downloads great. No lag time. It will soon replace our old desktop - which it beats easily.

AWESOME DEAL !!!!
I bought this for the wife as she was having trouble with her Facebook games on her laptop & also missed having a large screen. The Dell came expertly packaged and with no issues. I had it up and running within a couple hours to include all updates. Laptop is super fast, streaming video is crisp, clear and runs her Facebook games with no lag. I recommend this Laptop to anyone wanting a top of the line laptop but not wanting to pay full price for one.
