Although the price seems high - it is one of the best priced solutions for the need. It truly works as advertised - install the software and go!

delivers full 1080p + audio over HDMI as promised
download latest drivers from displaylink website, and then this adapter installs with zero trouble. Worked splendidly with both 720p and 1080p screens, and is superior to other similar adapters because it also puts the PC audio on the HDMI interface, which means a single connection to the TV does everything.
