Does what it is supposed to
Installed 2 of these on 2 80mm case fans about 10 days ago in a Linux machine. I am a heavy smoker so I have to have filters they really help protect the components in my case

filters, but
Bought these and quickly realized that the four corner holes don't go all the way through the filter housing. As my fans have long skinny screws bolting it to the case (as most I've ever had do), I had to drill the holes the rest of the way through to bolt the fan and filter on. Ultra's fan filters are the same way(hole not all the way through). Are we supposed to glue them in or what?

Cleaner, but Hotter
I run an AMD Phenom 2 X 4 940, Dual incoming fans, that i placed these on, and 3 outgoing fans that i left clear. The Temp inside the case jumped 7 degrees, and the Chip temp jumped 11 Degrees. But there was no dust inside. So i guess it does what it says, but it slows the air enough that it wasn't feasible for me to use them
